Python Job: Full Stack Developer (f-m-d)

Our team called Kraken is the central unit of the Otto Marketplace. Our software is the interface between Otto customers and partners, who are selling their products on the marketplace. The partners are using our API and UI to manage the whole order lifecycle. Recently we started working on a new project for vouchers using state of the art technologies. We love E-Commerce! We as a team are making our own decisions on technology and the way we implement features. We are a cross-functional, international team with experts both from business and tech working together in an agile mode. Our applications are running in the AWS cloud using top notch technologies. We are responsible for the complete technology portfolio from frontend, backend to infrastructure. We believe in the statement “you build it, you run it”. • Working in a motivated, agile, cross-functional team
• Investigating and using new technologies
• Implementing and designing new features, from story to production code, including automated tests and CI/CD deployment
• Implementing UIs from draft to real life application

Must-have:

• Experience with Frontends using Technologies like Vue.js, React or similar
• Solid know how in implementing endpoints for frontends
• Curiosity and high motivation to learn
• Enjoy developing cool new features and working software
• Enthusiastic team player in an agile environment
• Passion for quality and ready to take responsibility
• Fluent in English

Nice-to-have:

• Database experience, especially with MongoDB
• Cloud know how, especially AWS
